Two more carvings up. Santa #28 (the re-carved, former spoon#06), and Santa spoon #09.

August 08, 2004:

I've been back from Los Angeles for a week now. I picked up a couple of blocks of basswood, one of which i have finished and can be seen here. Some unfortunate news, Santaspoon #06 is no longer. It was accidentally stepped on... luckily, only the ladle broke off, and i was able to save the carving, turning it into an ornament which i will probably post tomorrow, along with another Santa spoon i finished today. There will soon be a seperate 'spoons' section which will house spoons featuring angels, flowers and other designs. All for now.

July 20, 2004:

Five new driftwood Santasuploaded on pages 4 and 5. All unpainted, and exotic woods like heart of Paolo Fiero(Ironwood), Cocobolo, and fragrant Eucalyptus. The ironwood carvings did a number on the joints of my thumb. It's called ironwood for a reason. It's very, very hard, and consequently difficult to carve. The natives of mexico used to make swords out of it.

July 18, 2004:
